Accessibility
Last updated: 24 September 2026
The Alabama School Mental Health Network is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology.
Our Approach
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. In practice that means working towards readable colour contrast, text alternatives for images, headings and labels that describe content and structure, keyboard access to interactive elements, and forms that work with screen readers.
Ongoing Work
Accessibility is not a one-off task. As we add pages and features, we review them and correct issues we find. Some content may not yet fully meet our target, and we welcome reports of problems.
Alternative Formats
If you need information from this site in another format — large print, plain text, or read aloud over the phone — contact us and we will do our best to provide it.
Tell Us About a Problem
If you encounter a barrier on this site, please email questions@asmhn.org. It helps if you can tell us the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology you were using.
